Not really sure how 8 years has passed since Ive met this handsome boy and his amazing Mama. 8 years of shared love, laughs, cries, fear so much fear and laughter. We met through our lactations consultant, Dana Ehman of Motherborn when our babes were 11 weeks old! We too were just 11 weeks old in our new roles as Moms. My first memory of Brooke is she came flying into Mothers Morning Out, talking in motion, a massive Louis Vuitton bag on one shoulder and Carter in a carseat on the other. Flopping down on one of the chairs, she started asking questions, saying hello, talking more while getting her baby situated. All the while, I watched completely intrigued..."what is in that massive LV"
She reached in and pulled out a Boppy! That was it. That was the moment our stars aligned and I knew we were gonna be friends. Kismet struck twice when we learned our babies were 5 days apart and we lived 5 minutes from one another. We became close buddies playing several times a week, taking long walks, swimming etc. Frankie and Carter were/are like "peas and carrots" we always say. I am so happy that that beautiful human flew into danas office that morning because she is one of my people. Peep the other 7 years of Carter below <3
