I had a wonderful time with this family on an early evening at Sprinton Manner. I consider myself a somewhat experienced photographer (as Ive been at this gig since high school) but learning I had 6 little boys (under 7) amongst 6 adults to photograph...i might have been shaking in my Birkenstocks. But they were so much fun and so sweet! We ran, played, climbed fences and rocks and of course saw the animals.
This family's love and closeness, brought to mind a treasured book in our house and I love that it frequents the bedtime circuit.
"An Awesome Book of Love". I posted my favorite part below. I especially love this part of the book, as it beautifully describes life, love and most of all family.
"But you know that’s not all that this love is about,
sometimes it’s a whisper when you feel you could shout,
or just being around when the others have gone,
or about letting go when you want to hold on.
It’s about living a life with such strength and emotion
and knowing that waves are just part of the ocean,
and that ocean, that ocean, goes on forever,
just like the love that has brought us together."
